THE Name

Oh my freakin' gosh.

So Doug and I were out talking by his car at 12:40 am tonight, and we so came up with the name for the community.

The Train Station.

Pure and simple. It fulfills all the requirements given so far for a name: 1) it's hip, happenin' and cool; 2) it represents who we are, what we stand for and what we do; and 3) it fits the "hey let's go to" line: "I'm heading back to the Train Station!" "Hey let's meet back at the Train Station!" It's so perfect. You just can't deny it. And for those few of you who don't know what TRAIN is, and you don't know what the heck I'm talking about and you think I've gone insane... well we already knew that but once TRAIN is explained to you, you too will see the incredible awesomeness and will agree that this should be our name. Seriously. It's so perfect. Doug and I literally jumped up and down and screamed "YES!!" when we came up with it. It's so there. You don't even know. So anyway comment and tell us all how awesome it is... and until we meet/speak/read again, TRAIN OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To all those who said that we would come up with a name naturally... Here it is! This was so cool and natural!! Like AJ said, we no longer need to search for a name... (we actually did jump up and down...twice)

Feel free to check out my blog now. I have even begun posting things..thanks to Rae and her gung-ho-ness about getting my blog "track"ing!

PRAY for my Bible study today (Monday 12-1) with Wesley and Isaac. ...That my mouth would speak only Truth, that their hearts would be open to hear God's Word, and that the power of the Spirit would overwhelm us with peace and understanding. (plus good things that you care to add).

n : terminal where trains load or unload passengers or goods

"Hey... you need to get back on the right 'track'."
"Today, I feel like a 'caboose'!"
"Don't be such a Tank!" (as in Thomas the Tank)
"Your railway is in the way of mine!"
"Don't be such a STOWAWAY!"
"Don't unload your goods on me!"

yes i agree it is a good name for the apartment, but not the community.
"see you at the train station" -that works!
"we are the train station" -that dosen't work:(

P.S. We need to have a meeting with Faye, Bethany and M-bito to explain TRAIN to y'all. Or something like that. I realize it sounds weird... but once you known the true meaning of TRAIN, you too will see the awesomeness that is The Train Station.

The name brings tears of joy to my eyes. Indeed, train philosophy will make an impact on Southern California, if not the world. Be sure to tell Aaron about it. You know he'll love it.
